03. Formation of BNCS :

Ancient and old coins reveal and speak of the past history and culture. To conserve and preserve the history and culture, to facilitate research work on numismatics and to speed up and strengthen the numismatic collection Mr. Amalendra Saha took initiative to form an effective organization uniting the numismatic collectors of the country. With that view a meeting of the numismatic collectors was held on 12 December, 2008 and BNCS was formed. In that meeting a temporary Executive Committee of 9 members of BNCS was formed with Mr. Amalendra Saha as President and Mr. M.A. Kashem as General Secretary. Later on a full fledged Executive Committee of 13 members of BNCS was formed with Mr. Saha and Mr. Kashem as President and G.S. respectively. BNCS got the Government Registration on 27 October, 2009 ( Registration No. S 10400 / 2009 ).
